The African Maritime Safety and Security Agency provides administrative support for all African Nations, its mantra is to Protect the African Maritime Legacy for Future Generations. Its purpose is to procure, centralise, and analyse data. And to provide access to services, innovate technology and proven knowledge, freely available or at optimum cost for African States, Governments and their Agencies, National Maritime Administrations, Navies, Coastguards, Law Enforcement Agencies, Border Control and Ports.
AMSSA core goals are based on a consensus of value, common interests and common strategic objectives and we are guided by the fundamental principles of the unity of Africa, the interdependence between Africa and the global community, ownership and joint responsibility, respect for human rights, democratic principles and the rule of law.
